Warranty Information

Ecig Life prides itself on only selling high-quality products. However, we know that despite our best efforts, sometimes things do go wrong, which is why we offer warranties on our products.
We test all products where possible prior to shipping them out to ensure you receive a fully working item upon delivery.

Please note:

There is no guarantee that you will “like” the electronic cigarette, simply that it will function within the specified time frame. We do not offer “change of mind” refunds, or offer refunds simply because you do not like the shape, size, style or performance of the particular product you have purchased.

Vaping products can be complex and confusing for some users. Please do your research on your product, learn how to operate your device and learn as much about it as possible. You can use Google and Youtube to search for information about your device and the problem you are having, it will more than likely be a quick fix.

It is important to make sure you have done everything you can to troubleshoot the problem you are having prior to returning an item to us. If we receive a returned item that is not faulty you will be required to pay a return shipping fee of $10 in order for us to send your device back to you.

Starter Kits

All Starter Kits come with a 14 day parts warranty from the date of purchase (for Batteries & Charger only). The purchaser should be aware that our electronic cigarette batteries and chargers, although made to the highest quality, may fail or degrade over a period of time. There is no guarantee that the purchaser will “like” the Electronic Cigarette, simply that it will function within the specified time frame.

All consumables including but not limited to clearomizers, cartomizers, cartridges, atomizers, tanks, drippers, drip tips, e-liquid and flavour concentrates are considered DOA and not covered under warranty. They are deemed as non-returnable items for health and safety reasons.

Our electronic cigarette batteries contain micro-electronic circuitry and micro-processors. Users should store and handle these items with special care. We advise users not to store with metallic or magnetized objects or electronic transmitting devices, such as keys and mobile phones, therefore extending their lifespan of functional use.

Mods

We have a strict 14 day warranty for Mods. Due to the nature of these devices and due to our inability to know how the product is used and/or treated we can not refund or replace the item after 14 days so please be aware of this prior to purchase. During that time we will exchange in the event of defect not caused by misuse or user originated damage. We accept no responsibility whatsoever for any damage or injury caused by battery failure or as a result of incorrect use of any products on this website.

Batteries & Chargers

Batteries & Chargers purchased as “singles” i.e. not as part of a Starter Kit are also covered by a 14 day warranty period from the date of purchase.
Any replacement parts are warrantied from the date of purchase of the original order.

Mod Batteries

Due to the consumable nature of batteries, returns are not allowed unless the product is defective upon receipt.

E-Liquid & Flavour Concentrates

We do not accept returns or provide refunds for e-liquid, or flavours concentrates that do not meet personal flavour expectations. Taste is a very subjective sense that will vary greatly from person to person. You may or may not feel that an e-liquid tastes like the exact flavour. Flavour chemistry is very complex therefore no returns or refunds are accepted. Returned e-liquid could never be re-used for any purpose, so will not be accepted.

Clearomizers, Atomizers & Consumables

All consumables including but not limited to clearomizers, cartomizers, cartridges, atomizers, tanks, drippers, drip tips are considered DOA and not covered under warranty. They are deemed as non-returnable items for health and safety reasons.
We do not offer a standard warranty on these items as they are considered consumables (designed to be used and thrown away after a certain amount of time). Please keep in mind that coils must have adequate e-liquid in the wicking material before firing to ensure the coil doesn’t “burn out”.

Conditions of Warranty

Ecig Life warrants only to the original purchaser of any product from www.electroniccigarettelife.com.au
The warranty will be considered void if the product has been tampered with in any way, has been used with parts other than those sold and supplied by Ecig Life, is damaged through improper use, normal wear and tear, acts of God, negligence and/or abuse.

– All warranty claims will be assessed to ensure that items are not damaged through user error.
– Any replacement parts are warrantied from the date of purchase of the original order.
– Ecig Life reserves the right to refuse the products that are sent back if Ecig Life suspects that the product has been opened, used or damaged by you (the purchaser) ( i.e. not by the fault of Ecig Life). Please note that it is your responsibility to learn how to use and care for your electronic cigarette and take the necessary steps to maintain it. If a product is sent back that in the opinion of Ecig Life is damaged by an act of negligence by you (the purchaser) or can be attributed to you (the purchaser), Ecig Life will inform you in writing (letter, fax or e-mail). If an item is refused replacement it will be returned to you along with an explanation as to why the item was refused.
– We are not responsible for any damage to items caused by Australia Post or our International carriers. We cannot be held responsible for damage or loss to the goods during shipping. Once an item is shipped, Ecig Life shall not be responsible for receipt of your package.
– Our warranty covers only faulty products and does not cover any other problems, including those that arise as a result of: (1) improper maintenance or modification; (2) parts or supplies not provided or supported by Ecig Life products; (3) operation outside the product’s specifications; or (4) unauthorized modification or misuse.
Warranty does NOT include damage caused by water, a drop/fall or blow to the product and painted surfaces are not warranted against scratches & chipping.
The warranty is void in the event of misuse, negligence and/or not correctly following the instructions or manuals supplied with the products (if applicable).
– Products that are discontinued or no longer carried: Any product that may be discontinued or no longer supported through our line of product offerings will cease to be covered under our warranty replacement policy effective the time of discontinuance.
– All consumables including but not limited to clearomizers, cartomizers, cartridges, atomizers, tanks, drippers, drip tips, e-liquid and flavour concentrates are considered DOA and not covered under warranty. They are deemed as non-returnable items for health and safety reasons.
– We do NOT offer a full money back guarantee on products. We will only send out a replacement or arrange store credit after receiving the defective product. If the defective product is no longer in stock we will offer a store credit of the product purchase price (shipping charge not included). We will only send out a replacement and/or arrange store credit after receiving the defective product and only if the product is deemed faulty. Return postage of defective product is at the customer’s expense. We will cover postage of the replacement item.

Warranty Claims

Please Contact Us if you would like to exchange a defective product. You must have a copy of your original receipt if you’d like to claim.

We will require the defective product to be sent back to us for inspection. If the defective product is no longer in stock we will offer a store credit of the product purchase price (shipping charge not included). We will only send out a replacement or arrange store credit after receiving the defective product and only if the product is deemed faulty. Return postage of defective product is at the customer’s expense and must be sent via registered post with tracking. We will cover postage costs of the replacement item.
Due to the fact that our product is a consumable and can not be repackaged or resold like most other electronic devices, we do not offer a full money back guarantee.

Under Australian consumer law in the event of a warranty issue you are responsible for the return postage of the product to us. If the warranty issue is valid (not caused by fault of the consumer) we will gladly send you a replacement item and cover the shipping cost. If no fault is found with the item the return postage will be at the customer’s expense.

The Warranty Information, Claims and Conditions may be changed or adjusted by Ecig Life without notice at any time, for any reason.
